I had a comfortable stay at Leon's Place Hotel, with a notable breakfast spread and helpful staff. The location, while not central, was pleasant and provided nice walking opportunities, however, the noise from the outside road and thin walls were a bit of a downside. Overall, it was a good value and I would recommend it.

Rooms

My room was decent in size but faced a busy road, which made it noisy at times. The bed was super comfy, but the bathroom only had a shower, and I would have preferred a bath. Some maintenance was needed in areas, but overall it was clean.
Service

The staff was always friendly and eager to help, from the reception to breakfast bar. They provided useful tips for local dining options and helped book my airport transfer, which was much appreciated.
Location

The hotel was around a 20-minute walk from central Rome, in a nice neighborhood with plenty of cafes. While it's a bit far out, I enjoyed the walk and discovered some great spots along the way, though it wasn't ideal on rainy days.
Dining

Breakfast was a highlight with a buffet style offering loads of options, from eggs to pastries. The coffee kept coming, which was a nice plus. It’s definitely worth including when booking your room!
Facilities

The hotel had a clean gym and a nice spa area, although I didn't get a chance to use it. Room service was good, even if I had a couple of hiccups with regards to billing.

I had a good stay at Leon's Place Hotel in Rome, thanks to the charming staff and cozy atmosphere. The location was a bit of a trek from the main attractions, which made me wish for a closer metro stop at times, but the short walk was manageable. The breakfast offered a good variety (I loved the pastries), though the spa facilities were smaller than I expected. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and I'd be happy to return.

Rooms

My room was cozy and comfortable but a bit compact. The decor was tasteful, and I appreciated the well-appointed bathroom. The air conditioning was perfect during the heatwave. However, it felt a bit dark at times due to the limited natural light.
Service
10.0
The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. They quickly remembered my preferred coffee choice and made me feel at home. Matilde at the front desk was particularly charming, and the bar staff crafted some fantastic Irish coffees.
Location

The location was good for exploring Rome, though it was about a 30-minute walk to the Colosseum. Once I got back to the hotel after a long day, it felt like a welcome retreat. There were plenty of restaurants and cafés within walking distance, which added convenience.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast offered a full range of hot and cold options, including fresh fruits and pastries. While it was good, I wouldn't say it was excellent or particularly nice; it felt more suited for a business crowd.
Facilities

I appreciated the access to the spa area where I could book it privately for some relaxation. However, it was quite small and required some attention as the steam room was not fully functioning during my stay.

I had a lovely stay at Leon's Place Hotel in Rome, enjoying the modern decor and helpful staff. The breakfast was great, but the noise from slamming doors and early housekeeping was a bit annoying. Overall, the location and amenities made my stay enjoyable despite a few hiccups.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious on the top floor, with a nice balcony and a comfy queen bed. However, it did lack a bath, and the bathroom door didn’t close properly.
Service
9.0
The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making my experience much more enjoyable.
Location

While it's about a 15-20 minute walk to central spots like the Trevi Fountain, it's not too far, and there’s a bus stop right outside.
Dining

Breakfast was fantastic, offering a variety of delicious choices, but I only had it a couple of times since it wasn’t included in my stay.
Facilities

The spa looked inviting, but the hot tub was out of service, which was disappointing. They also offer free power bank rentals, which was a nice touch.

My stay at Leon's Place in Rome was fantastic! The hotel itself is beautifully designed and the attention to detail is impressive. However, I did find the reception staff could be a bit more engaged, as they seemed unstaffed at times. Overall, it was a nice experience that I would gladly repeat.

Rooms

My room was immaculate and spacious, with lovely little touches like a personalized greeting letter. The bathroom was superb, though I didn't appreciate the rain shower head. It was well-decorated, and I had everything I needed.
Service
8.0
The service was generally excellent, especially from the breakfast staff who were friendly and attentive. It would have been nice if the reception staff had been a bit more present to assist with any needs I had during my stay.
Location

Leon’s Place is a little out of the direct tourist center, about a 20-minute walk from major attractions, which I actually appreciated. The neighborhood felt nice and I found great places nearby, like an ice cream café across the street.
Dining

The breakfast buffet was very nice with a variety of options. I particularly enjoyed the scrambled eggs, fresh pastries, and fruits. I just wish there were a few more typical Italian dishes on the menu.
Facilities

The wellness area with the spa, jacuzzi, and steam room was a lovely retreat after a long day of exploring. I also appreciated the extras like pocket Wi-Fi and a comfortable gym, although the spa was under maintenance during my stay.

I had a lovely stay at Leon's Place Hotel in Rome. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The modern decor made for a pleasant atmosphere. However, the location was a bit of a walk from some main attractions, which I found slightly inconvenient after long days of sightseeing.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was cosy and well-equipped, featuring a flat-screen TV and a mini fridge. Although it was small, I found it very comfortable. It could have benefitted from a kettle for tea or coffee in the room.
Service

Service throughout my stay was really good. The staff were always willing to help. They made my mornings better by remembering my coffee preferences, which was a lovely touch.
Location

The hotel's location was decent, about a 10-minute walk from Termini and fairly close to restaurants. While it wasn't super central for all attractions, I enjoyed the quieter vibe of the area, though it required a fair bit of walking.
Dining

Breakfast options were plentiful and quite satisfying. I particularly appreciated the restaurant staff's willingness to cater to my requests, making sure I was well-fed to start my day.
Facilities

The hotel offered good facilities, including a bar that looked inviting. However, I didn't get to experience the spa since it was not available during my stay.
